Finally, after months of saying I would build this page on my site, it is here!  Although I do not own a gun, never have owned a gun, and perhaps never will own a gun, I have recently joined the NRA.  It has occurred to me that unless I act now and encourage others to do the same, the right to own any sort of firearms may no longer be mine.  You see, it isn't the ownership of the gun which I hold dear, but rather the constitutionally-guaranteed right to do so.  I have always thought that Charlton Heston was one of the few sane people in Hollywood.  I admired him long before liking him was politically incorrect.  In fact, I appreciated him for decades before "politically correct" entered our vocabulary.  So when he became President of the National Rifle Association, it got my attention.  Heck, it was like hearing it from Moses ….. not really an eleventh commandment, but something sacred all the same.
   My intention for this page is to post newsworthy stories as quickly as they appear in my mailbox.  You can help me by sending me anything you receive which others might want to read.  Also, I would appreciate any good 2nd amendment sites you may know of.  I will put links to those pages here.  Please help educate me!  I am a relentless pro-life activist, having been "in the trenches" of the war against the unborn and their moms for many years; and I am familiar with many other facets of conservative thought and action, as well.  However, the gun debate is new to me; so I'm asking for you who have been fighting this good fight to teach me.
